So glad we do Not have a Costco nearby! If I had another choice & I USED to give then my business, that would END after learning they POISONED YOU FOR 4 YEARS & that it isn't Consumer Desires but COST as far as why they are no longer going to use it.
So thankful there are still small grocery chains where we live! If they act disrespectfully & anger their Customers, it truly can Ruin them if we boycotted!
As far as I can see. People will have to learn how to live in a constant state of detox if they want to remain healthy. I see it necessary too to keep the body flooded with antioxidants. It helps a lot too to reject the medical rate poisons. OTC and the pharmaceutical ones. I feel for people who believe they can't survive without taking the toxic and the carcinogenic medicines.
Robyn, Thank you! Now this time it is for exposing me to Azure Standard--I have recently, several times, commented (various Stacks) on my 'wondery' whether the recent outburst of gluten intolerance arises from the glyphosate used on the soil as herbicide and also on the wheat as desiccant. That the very crop which made civilization itself possible thousands of years ago should, of a sudden, be so suspect, is, in my eyes, suspect. Glyphosate arrived on the market in 1974. Just about enough time to make a lot of people affected. Now here comes David Stelzer's video:
" David Stelzer has produced a video correlating this increased use of glyphosate with increased gut problems such as gluten intolerance."
Interesting that you got the Farmstand! I mentioned about my inside crop FS Nook here several times! I started it end of April. Just started my own seeds a few weeks ago for lettuce, spinach, kale, Holy Basil. Love the compact size too for the dining/kitchen space. It's time to clean it out after 4 months. We've had triple digits here in Central Texas every day for 2 months so outside garden is taking a ton of watering to keep some things still going. Peppers mostly still going but our collard crop is booming again since we've been watering daily! Next up is putting in a drip system outside for our 8 raised beds! After 40 years gardening it's about time! Appreciate you girl!
I spoke to customer service at the grocery I normally shop at when I noticed a sign for Apeel. They told me that they have no control over what gets sprayed on the fruits and vegetables because it’s done through the supplier. I told them that they should find different suppliers then that don’t use it. I thought that grocery store chains were required to put an Apeel label on their products. It really concerns me that this isn’t necessarily true.....which is so wrong.
I am going to assume my local Safeway/Albertsons would say the same thing, but I am going to ask, and share this information far and wide. Thanks for the PSA Robyn!
I love Azure Standard and actually kind of forgot about them until recently. I am trying to buy at the farmers market but sometimes that is not an option. I asked the produce manager at Natural Grocers and she said it is company policy not to have Apeel produce in any of their stores.
How do we voice our concerns to the FDA.? There should be full disclosure on what we are eating with regard to labeling!!!!!!!!!!!!

Costco has carried Driscoll berries for years. That's why I've never bought my berries there.
I thought Driscoll said they do NOT use Apeel? Is there a different reason to not use them? I'd really like to know.
Rainier's told me they did not & will not use Apeel.
In 2016, people boycotted Driscoll's because of this:

But apparently the matter was settled that same year. Their reputation definitely suffered because of it.

It's absolutely not true. And they're poisoning us in lots of other ways too ... this one just made the news :(

Azure Standard (the nation's largest distributor of organic foods) has also pledged not to buy from any seller that uses Apeel. (https://www.facebook.com/azurestandard/posts/pfbid035RN2EJic6kvNyTbhXMRGvVDRyPfhzyioBofAnTfVuUkW2de78PPxXjj5VuSyN4tGl)
