1972, having graduated from one of those seven 'elite' New England women's colleges, (and married 6 days later) I felt I had to keep quite private my most-desired career---to be a wife and mother. Private, because that was not a socially acceptable choice for me--in the view of that educational world; these were the years of ZPG. And one of my 'young man' tests had been this: if the young man himself did not desire to marry, provide --on his own --the income to support a wife who would, full-time, raise his family, at home--I was having none of him.

We wanted seven children; only managed 3. One of them, pure of blood, expects to double her family with twins in June. Children are a gift from the Lord, but in these days of MRNA fertility destruction, I recognize these new lives as an even greater gift.

I always purchased my homes--four of them over this 50 years--with an eye to what I could do with the land. My take is that you can change a house by adding on, tearing down, but you cannot change the land. In just the last two weeks, we have added, to the fruits planted 35 years ago, new elderberries, fruit trees (pomes this year; stones last year) , blueberries, lingonberries--with new hazels arriving later this month. Vegetable garden, of course. Canning and freezing always. Of course.

My recently retired naturopath wouldn't agree with you. He refused to take patients that were vegan. He didn't want to treat any vegetarians either.

He totally read me the riot act about not eating ENOUGH red meat after I came down with a galloping case of microcytic anemia due, oddly enough, to...not eating ENOUGH red meat. I'd cut down on my consumption because of a freezer malfunction in the family. The kids needed the meat. I didn't think I did. I thought I could get away with eating a little more chicken and a lot more veggies. Sadly, I was wrong and great misery and frustration ensued. There was a point at which I nearly lost the ability to digest any food at all. After years of trying to get this under control and keep it from killing me, I'm still fighting this battle today, although the issues have changed somewhat.

Robyn, you need to be totally honest and transparent with your readers: the reason why there's glyphosate in the meat is because it's being sprayed on our crops. GMO corn, wheat, soy--all are being raised to take a beating from glyphosate and associated poisons and ignore the evil effects while growing a crop laced with pesticide that winds up in the food on the plates of consumers.

This is why there are so many people now who are gluten intolerant. Glyphosate interferes with the digestion of gluten. It also contributes to grain allergies and leaky gut syndrome, and interferes in other horrible ways with proper digestion. It can even impair your ability to digest dark leafy greens and animal protein and--oh, so much more. If you're exposed to enough of it, it will eventually cause lymphoma.

The detox treatment for glyphosate involves taking glycine. Glycine in nature is found in the highest concentrations in chicken, duck, and goose eggs. I can't take the concentrated glycine, I can only tolerate the safely raised eggs. Guess which one I'm doing.

The way that glyphosate contaminates our meat: huge quantities of that glyphosate-saturated grain are being fed to the livestock that is butchered and sold to the public via our local grocery stores.

The only way to avoid a super-saturated diet of poison (it's impossible to avoid entirely) is to source your meat from local growers who take greater care with their animals and feed them a healthy diet, and to grow and raise your own vegetables and grains or buy organic from verified sources.

Glyphosate doesn't break down when it comes in contact with water or soil (not at all as advertised, is it?). It goes airborne when the wind picks up soil, and it gets into our ground water and into the wells and water systems--and round and round it goes. My naturopath told me all about how the researchers were testing polar bears in the Arctic and having them come up positive for glyphosate poisoning. This is insane.

We need to put a stop to the use of forever poisons before it's too late. Our lives depend on it, and so does our world.

Hmmm... as a Christian, I've considered what Jesus ate to fuel His earthly body, and He ate animal foods as well as plants. After the Flood, God gave mankind animals to eat, with criteria, though humans were created as vegetarians before the Fall. I have no problem with vegetarians and eating as many plant foods as I can, but I can't agree philosophically that there is a Biblical basis for vegetarianism.

I love most vegetables. I love my meat too and would have no choice but to live without it if it came to that. I definitely prefer vegetables over bugs and fake meats.

As far as the anti-human WOKE culture is concerned. They are the ones who need to learn a thing or two about tolerance and knowing how to live and let live. The world would be a better place if people would stop trying to dictate and control everyone else's life. I just thought about what I heard a pastor say over 30 years. He stated that the type of people I described above are operating under a spirit of witchcraft. These are the character traits of such a person from all walks of life: Thriving on always dominating, always manipulating and always intimidating others. Whether these people always get their way or not. They are a plague on society. We're lucky that not all of them go on shooting rampages.
