I sure do have trauma around dentistry, Robyn! You must have been reading my mind to write about this! Since we've moved around central Florida for many years (since 2010) for our work, and because we lived in an RV for eleven years, I've seen multiple dentists and oral surgeons (and spent over $30k the last time I even bothered to add it up)! I got all the metal out of my mouth years ago, and have crowns and bridges, but now some of those have gone bad, and after I was traumatized during a root canal a few years back, and another dental practice stealing $1,150 from me, I am facing a quandary over how to resolve the rest of my issues--mostly around missing teeth (I only have one bottom molar with which I can use to chew food with now.) Help!
Such an important topic! I was scheduled to see Dr. Jorgensen last June but my mother had a health crisis (congestive heart failure) and I had to leave UT to care for her full time. I needed a dentist and found a “biological” dentist in my location in Californication... it’s so true what you say here... surf boards and crystals in the office does not make one holistic. I wish I could have gone to Jorgensen but the fates had other plans. Thanks for posting this info! xox
Thank you for this excellent post. I learned about Holistic Dentistry through Mothering Magazine, 30 years ago and took my 4 daughters to a truly Holistic dentist in Miami when they were young. He has since passed and I am having a hard time finding a dental office that will clean my teeth without making me have x-rays. I hope I find someone on your list.
Ha Ha! I have been doing oil pulling for several years. It's an ancient Ayurvedic practice. I've also been using non-toxic toothpaste (all personal care products) for 30 years.
I was able to get my realtor/ favorite dental hygienist to clean my teeth, but they would not allow me to return unless I had X-rays. She gave me some of the tooth polish they use in the dental office and I bought an electric toothbrush plus water pick, which I use with hydrogen peroxide. I also use activated charcoal tooth polish and purchased a natural tooth whitening mouthpiece which uses activated charcoal and LED lights.
My teeth are not dirty, but not artificially sparkling white, like the ones who use the toxic tooth whitening products. I drink green tea a few times a day and love me some dark chocolate.

I also use an herbal toothpaste, Dentalcidin, on occasion. It’s for the oral microbiome.
In my early 20s, I had all my mercury fillings taken out and replaced with white resin ones. I have been exploring natural health since my teens. In my recent hair analysis and urinalysis, I am not high in mercury, surprisingly, since I love sushi and raw tuna. I take infrared saunas & exercise regularly, use several detox methods.

I have gone to several dental offices and none will even clean my teeth without taking x-rays. It’s part of their toxic by the book practice.
I did not take the death & disability shot. I’ve known about the dangers of vaccines for 30 years.
If you knew me in person, you would know it’s impossible to make me do something I don’t want to do. 😉
