are you forcing me to re-examine one of my favorite old time quips:

“ I wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire”😁

For me the substance itself is not repulsive. But, body orifices are not a sanitary fountain. A significant number of urine specimens submitted for lab analysis are collected by catheter because of the nonsterile pathway and exterior surface contact. Not only body grime and bacteria but fecal matter, and a plethora of pathogenic cells looking for the right spot to land. By what process to you collect and store your "potable urine?" Do you have the source you read suggesting urine has antibodies for any pathogen?

I ain't made at you Robin. I heard about urine therapy about 3 years ago from Dr. Edward Group. He swears by it. I hear too that stem cells have been found in urine. If I had no other alternatives. I would consider taking urine or dirt over the sorcerers' medicines. Sometimes we don't know how natural medicines may work until we try them. Some of us have learned what quack medicines are. The things that actually promote good health and healing have been and still are often vilified. It's been this way for decades. The toxic medicines and vaccines are the real quack medicines. Outside of an emergency. The medical plantation is the last place I look for medicines or healing.

It just doesn’t make sense biologically. If our bodies needed the urine we would reabsorb it all, not excrete the majority. And it’s not an instinctual thing either. At least I’ve never known any of my children or other children that want to consume their urine and feces and have to be taught not to. It seems they smell unpleasant for a reason and that is to warn us away. I guess I could see usefulness in an instance of illness or topical application and it’s great to use for garden fertilizer, but otherwise, I can’t imagine we’ve all been collectively duped, and everyone should be consuming their urine as a daily health practice.

Awesome, Robyn! I've been looking at this too. Definitely going to give it a try. The fact that pharma companies purchase harvested urine/waste and turn it into a product should give pause to those that would worship at the feet of this idol and then poo-poo the idea of someone using their own urine as a curative.

If you are hydrated enough, it will taste almost pleasant.

If you are dehydrated, or have ingested some types of food, or supplements, it can taste stronger and a little bitter.

You can also tell if your body is currently too acidic.

In survival situations it will keep you alive and may help to heal wounds.

The book "The water of life" by John Armstrong, contains a huge number of stories of patients who the health experts could not heal.

Though there is no way to verify their accuracy, John comes across as passionate about it and his arguments about the ignorance and corruption of the medical industry are probably more relevant today, than they were back then.

Absolutely fascinating. Thank you Robyn. Can you imagine: a recipe book with urine as the main ingredient? (...joking)

I DID THIS 1 MONTH AGO! Drank about 8 oz with the first morning 'go'...pee a little in toilet first then catch it. It was not bad at all, but the after taste had a VERY bad after taste that made me think I'd never do it again....but I did a cup the next day and still the awful after taste! Like a chemical taste! I take a lot of supplements...like 30/day, maybe it was from them. Althought I guess I shouldn't have expected a perfectly lovely taste. I'll have to have a 'chaser' if I ever do it again. I wouldn't hesitate to do this if I had to for true health and vigor....I'd gladly do it then. Maybe not for general health.

Very interesting Robyn! My sister and I were just discussing this trend yesterday, but neither of us have done any research on it... and then we went down the rabbit hole to the fecal transplants (which I can understand the reasoning) and that led to blood bathing/drinking celebrities ~A HARD NO on that! I don't care what potential "benefit" that would have. There is POWER in The BLOOD, and for me that is JESUS!

I've come across this a few times in the last couple of years. I'm going to give it a try, can't say I'm looking forward to it though 😁

Very insightful, I have only heard of other uses, like for gardening, etc. but never ingesting it. Gross, but good to know. Thanks!
