... and I think Dr. Fuhrman is right about fats, and Dr. McDougall's anti-fat religion is *way* off base. Can anybody look at Mary McDougall lately, and not think that she is suffering from neurological issues; quite likely omega-3 deficiency? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTvTzRNBc2w

some of your doubts is not exacly gundry claimed

i don't think he sells products so there might be some hidden plans for $$

lots vegetables and nuts were not forbbiden in his claim

he also suggest some cook methods to break harmful type of lectins

Great substack Robyn! I agree. Why eliminate the most nutrient dense vegetables due to perceived problem digestion. Hey I’m curious. You didn’t go into too much detail on Mercola. Something I’ve seen him say is that all oils are bad for you, such as avocado, olive and coconut oil. He wasn’t just talking about the canolas etc. He is the only one that has taken this stance that I see. What is your take?

What do you think about eating foods according to your blood type? My husband and ai follow the foods that are good for our respective blood types and have seen great results. My husbands gout is under control, my inflammation has gone down and we have both lost weight. We both notice when we eat the “avoid” foods we experience negative results.

I have always been very suspicious of what Dr Gundry preached about lectins. Also questioned Dr Mercola on Oxilates. I’m beyond amazed that you were so brave to call these 2 Drs out on this. I’m also disappointed that other real so called Drs didn’t care enough to do this before now.

Beautifully stated, Robyn! Gundry's theories have always been suspect in my view. As a lifelong veg, student and teacher of nutrition, physiology, etc, I question his approach, while still understanding that many dietary extremes may/will create imbalance when combined with the declining physiology seen in this country.

Thank YOU, Robyn!! I, for one, was caught up in both these orbits & was really bewildered by it all. I so appreciate your take on both lectins and oxalates as I really respect your views. Thanks again & keep up your great work!
