I don't know if it's true, but I heard that Celery contains more nitrites / nitrates, than bacon, so the nitrates cancer link was in question?

for 20 yrs my T has hovered around 300, my doc then always said that was borderline bad and that I should consider T therapy. I take NOTHING ever so I did not take his advice (just like with statins) yet worried about this revelation over the years that I was 'deficient' in something that made me less masculine. My next doc around 9 yrs ago (at 50) did all my bloodwork and I questioned him on my '300' T and that my prev doc said that was boderline bad and in need of meds. He said, nope....your free T is just fine and then he motioned with his hand/rubbing fingers together and said 'that's big money for doc's...pushing you into T therapy'. He also told me he was doing natural NO by chewing a mouthful of 'greens' throughout the day, that it relaxes the arteries for bloodflow...I guess helping blood pressure regulation for aging men, not penis related. MANY in my circles from 30's to 80 are on T! Expecially firemen...they all infuence each other I suppose. I decided to use resistance exercise, sprints/HIIT, lose my belly etc. I drink way too much wine which they say kills your T by producing too much estrogen(belly fat)...SO there's that. Recently developed the worst heartburn for 6 months, I am now on no wine/coffe and drinking aloe, paying attention to diet....heartburn GONE. Thank God I did not go to the doctor or they'd have had me scared and on meds. Blessings, thank you for relevent info!

I had heard that NO was being promoted, but I did not realize that testosterone was being pushed as well. What a terrible idea.

Do you know anything about risks of supplementing with pregnenolone? It's a precursor of all the sex steroids including testosterone. Nobody seems to know much of anything about it, but my body doesn't make very much of it (possibly due to in utero exposure to a pharmaceutical endocrine disruptor). It's pitched as a supplement for helping with memory problems, but I suspect that there is more to the story than that.
