A few decades ago, I had a GP physician tell me that he won a glamorous, all-expense paid trip, for winning a contest to sell the most Prozac, in his pharma rep’s region.
Oops, I mean prescribe, not sell. You probably think that doctors don’t make commissions on the drugs and injections and IV drips they sell (oops, I did it again–I mean prescribe!) to their patients.
Public backlash became severe enough that regulatory agencies painted the rails, to stop the screaming about the lavish incentives doctors received, to get more people heavily medicated.

But even though for the most part there’s an “arm’s length” between the doctor writing you the scrip and the pharmacist selling you the drug, there’s a big exception.
And that is oncology. Did you know that oncologists in private practice get an override on chemotherapy?
An Upsell at the End of Every Round of Chemo
I have an employee who was told in 2019 he had cancer and needed a six-month schedule of chemo. He’s now finishing his third year of chemo. There’s an upsell at the end of every course of chemo he completes —
— and he says he feels like his body is 90 years old. (He’s my age, and a father of 5.) I think he’s survived three years of chemo, and two Covid injections, partly because he’s one of the most positive, optimistic people I’ve ever known.
(But not the type to question the smart lady in the white coat. Also, while I failed to talk him out of the first two Covid injections, I did get him on the juicing wagon.)
So, do you see a problem with a doctor who literally gets a commission on a drug (though they call it a different word, not “commission”)? They just buy it at a wholesale price and bill it at a retail price — being incentivized to make more-more-more, if they keep upselling into more chemo.
After 25 years of studying cancer, including visiting 20 cancer clinics around the world to learn what they’re doing to treat it nontoxically, I’ve learned what holistic docs all over the world will tell you:
What They Don’t Tell You
There is no stage 0 or stage 1 cancer.
By the time they can detect it, cancer is always metastatic. Meaning, it’s not just in one place. Though it’s a great sales tool of the oncology industry, to urge a patient who has just been diagnosed and is in a total panic: “Hurry, let’s start treatment NOW, we caught it early!”
Your cancer is not new; it’s been multiplying for years.
By the time a cancer is diagnosable, the mass they detected has been growing, on average, for about 7 or 8 years. It may have recently hit some kind of “critical mass,” or a serious toxic exposure may have “poured gasoline” on it, so it could be growing more rapidly now.
But with this logic, many cancer patients are “diagnosed” on Friday and in chemo on Monday, without the time to do any research, calm down, and use their whole brain to make informed decisions, rather than acting with a paralyzed brain, limited by fear combined with urgency.
Everyone “has cancer.”
According to some estimates, we all make an average of 50,000 aberrant (cancerous) cells per day. Your immune system has been breaking down cancerous cells every day of your life, your whole life.
You’re exposed to carcinogenic toxins every day (air; food; water; household, yard, and industrial products) — and your body works to eliminate the toxin, and to break down the aberrant growths, before they can begin compromising an organ’s function, and eventually threatening your life.
So, there are no “people with cancer” and “people without cancer.” We all “have cancer.”
But those who have too many toxic exposures, uncleared and building up in various bodily systems and tissues — those whose cancer has gotten the upper hand on the immune system — get “diagnosed.”
And they end up in “the machine” — the system my grandmother called ` Slash-Burn-Poison. Now, I am not here to criticize you or your family member if you chose surgery, radiation, and/or chemo. I have nothing but love and compassion for cancer patients.
I understand the dynamics of that industry and how even many people I’ve known who are highly skeptical of the methods, when faced with “The C Word,” immediately acquiesced and suddenly had a needle in their arms once a week, or once a month.
And once they did, they were highly motivated to BELIEVE in the medicine, to put their faith in it, and adopt “all the words.”
“We got it all” is a lie.
After surgery, chemo, or radiation, oncologists like to tell their patients they got it all. This is a falsehood; here’s what it means:
“In the small area we looked at, in a scan or under a microscope, we didn’t see a sizeable number of cancer cells.”
But they didn’t scan the rest of your body. And that problem lurking below the surface the failed immune system that failed to protect you as the cancer proliferated — that really needs to be addressed.
A couple more common refrains — you’ve heard them, yes?
“We caught it early.”
“The margins are clear.”
All of these are gibberish. By the time they can detect it, cancer is always metastatic, meaning it’s not just in one place. Though whipping the newly diagnosed patient into a panicked froth is a great sales tool of the oncology industry. You know: “Hurry, let’s start treatment NOW, we caught it early!”
Many oncologists know this, but they don’t see a way out, and they weren’t trained in any ways whatsoever to teach you how to support your immune system — your best line of defense.
Health creation isn’t even the doctor’s domain
I can say that, where they can’t or won’t, because my medical license can’t be yanked (because I don’t have one).
This is where someone tells me “You can’t know anything about health, because you aren’t a doctor!
(Which is actually the most dangerous facet to your conditioning, of all: disempowering you to believe that you cannot learn anything about your own health except in medical school.)
Someone please show me any class in medical school that teaches what a state of optimal health actually is, and how to help a patient achieve it. I’ll wait.
You absolutely can educate yourself in this topic, about which doctors receive zero education. At which point the honest ones (they do exist, but they’re exceedingly rare) will learn from what you are doing to restore true health at the cellular level.
“Going to war” against cancer is a very poor strategy.
I understand that people are conditioned to see cancer as a growth that has to be destroyed, but the only way you can stay healthy is by having your own immune system as strong and intact as possible.
And your immune system being overwhelmed by the aberrant cells is what caused the cancer to grow out of control in the first place. But no oncologist “in the system” is educated, rewarded, or able in any way to help you strengthen the immune system to come out on top. Cutting into a tumor therefore may be a really terrible idea in many cases.
And no oncologist outside “the system” gets a dime from your insurance company. Those who operate in “alternative” methods are cash-pay only!
The fact is, we’ve gotten cancer so, so wrong. And that’s why, 50 years after Nixon declared “war on cancer,” we’re losing more people to cancer, not fewer.
200 years ago, only 1 in 200 got cancer. Now it’s more like 1 in 2. Clearly, what we’re doing isn’t working.
They Kill You More Slowly Now
I will say this for the oncology industry: they kill people more slowly than they used to.
But chemo has a terrible track record now, just like it did 50 years ago.
And with chemo drugs being a billion-dollar racket, it’s hard to spend a billion dollars on a clinical trial to try to dethrone the current big money makers, like a memorable chemo drug called Fluorouracil, or “5-FU”.
(I just give you that one as an example because you’ll probably remember it. I think cancer patients probably like saying that: “F-You.” It’s symbolic of how we are conditioned to think of cancer: as something to go to war against, something that is not us. In fact, it is us, and how we become well again, is also us.)
They spread out the chemo treatments now, so people don’t die as rapidly as they did 30 years ago. They offed my 33-year old uncle in 11 months flat. And he was fully functional and given a “stage 1” Hodgkin’s diagnosis, when they got him to commit to aggressive chemo and radiation, back in the early ’80s.)
Remember, the oncology industry is an industry — a for-profit industry — and the more chemo they prescribe you, the more money they make.
The Cure Is Worse Than the Disease
For the patient, it’s a race to the bottom: Which will kill you first? The cancer, or the treatment for it?
You and I have both known people who died of the “cure,” rather than the disease itself, have we not?
Cancer is an inflammatory disease of a failed immune system, and all chemo and radiation can do to your immune system is disable it.
This is true whether or not the chemicals in the IV can eat away a tumor (while simultaneously wreaking massive, often catastrophic, collateral damage.)
It’s also true whether or not radioactive rays can burn away parts of a tumor (along with lots of healthy tissue). And those rays continue burning, even for years after — such is the nature of radiation.)
Our medical system is broken beyond repair. All the incentives promote Slash-Burn-Poison. Our oncologists know absolutely nothing about health or how to rebuild the immune system. And worst of all, patients aren’t offered alternatives.

Wow. Great post. Really opened my eyes.
Good points Green Smoothie Girl. A coworker was talking to me about the "anti-radiation" that the government has supposedly purchased for "EVERYBODY" to be safe from nuclear war. I told her the chickens can take my dose. I'm sure I'd be better off not taking it as with all pharma drugs my life doesn't depend upon. As always. The "CURE" is usually worse than the disease.
