Bill Gates Is Funding Both Sides of the Aisle for 2022

On September 30th, Launch Liberty published an article called “EXCLUSIVE: How Bill Gates Bought The Republican Wave of 2022.”

The expose’ begins with a discussion of the more than $13,000 in campaign donations that Bill Gates has contributed to New York Republican Representative Elise Stefanik (who “has a real chance at possibly becoming Speaker of the House”) since 2018.

Here is a screenshot showing the dates and amounts, from the Federal Election Commission (FEC) website. You can find campaign donation data there for any US congressional, presidential, or vice presidential candidate.

After learning about Stefanik, and puzzling over the notion of a vaccine mogul and fierce proponent of radical climate-change policies supporting a prominent Republican congressional candidate, the article’s author, Troy Smith, did further investigation of the FEC data …… and he was startled at what he found. 

Smith noted, “Though we expect him to fund Democrats, it is quite alarming to see the scope of influence Gates plans to have on the 2022 Republican ticket.”

He continues, listing several more 2022 candidates on both sides of the aisle who have received contributions from Gates. Republican John Thune is a notable example:

“Gates also donated to the Republican WHIP in the Senate, John Thune. He donated $5,800 to ‘Friends of John Thune’ on May 19th, and gave $5,000 to his PAC ‘Heartland Values’ just a few days later. Thune is a Republican Leader in the Senate. The second most powerful person in the Senate chamber, if the Republicans are able to take back power. Influence over him is a tremendous power for Bill Gates.”

And on the left, we have Senator Joe Manchin:

“Just a month after Gates donated to West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin’s PAC ‘Country Roads’, and his campaign, Manchin reversed his stand against the Biden Climate Bill, siding with the Democrats to pass massive climate spending.”

He then provides this full list of Republican Congressional candidates who have received funding from Gates for the upcoming election cycle:

He concludes: “Gates has simply purchased all sides of this election … He has obviously prepared for a Red Wave.”

This makes learning who you’re voting for that much more important. Also, know your federal and state house rep and senator, and write them when you want to register your voice.
